José Luís Matellanes empezó su carrera profesional de Detective Privado en 1989 hasta la actualidad, colaborando con distintas Agencias de Investigación de toda España teniendo amplia experiencia en las diferentes labores propias de gremio.
Junto con Rafael Guerrero, Javier Regidor y otros detectives, pertenece al grupo de los denominados «Detectives Gourmets’, apasionados por el mundo de la gastronomía, los vinos y el descubrimiento de nuevos platos y restaurantes a través de la profesión que, en más de una ocasión, les lleva a horas de vigilancias e investigaciones que requieren visitar y comer en restaurantes del camino.
De esa pasión, compartida con los personajes de las novelas negras, nace la idea de reunirse para disfrutar del buen comer.
Por eso «Gastronomía y Detectives» ha querido conocer un poco a fondo sobre su vida profesional – amante del riesgo a través de sus cursos de supervivencia- , y de su faceta gourmet.

«Gastronomy and Detectives» with José Luís Matellanes
José Luís Matellanes began his professional career as a Private Detective in 1989, collaborating with various investigative agencies throughout Spain and gaining extensive experience in the various tasks inherent to the profession.
Along with Rafael Guerrero, Javier Regidor, and other detectives, he belongs to the group known as «Gourmet Detectives,» passionate about the world of gastronomy, wine, and the discovery of new dishes and restaurants through a profession that, on more than one occasion, leads them to hours of surveillance and investigations that require them to visit and eat at restaurants along the way.
From this passion, shared with the characters in crime novels, the idea of getting together to enjoy good food was born.
That’s why «Gastronomy & Detectives» wanted to learn a little more about his professional life – a risk-taker through his survival courses-, and his gourmet side.
