He incluido este libro en mi elección del mes porque fue el primero que escribió mi padre que es un completo manual para el desarrollo de la profesión en España.
Publicado en 1979, está escrito enfocado desde el ángulo documental y objetivo que abarca los pormenores de la profesión más la experiencia del propio autor como detective privado.
Esta antología está recomendada no sólo a los detectives o investigadores privados, sino también a los que utilizan sus servicios e, incluso, para los aficionados a esta interesante profesión.
Tiene veintiséis capítulos que van desde la historia del FBI, Scotland Yard, la CIA, la introducción a la profesión, los grandes profesionales, los tipos de delitos, las técnicas y herramientas disponibles para su desarrollo, las técnicas de vigilancia, los diferentes tipos de servicios que se pueden realizar, así como las disposiciones legales para el ejercicio de la profesión en aquella época.

Este manual está considerado como uno de los más completos -siempre recordando el año en el que fue escrito- y quedan pocos ejemplares del mismo que, por suerte, me legó mi padre, junto con su segundo libro, “Las Otras Huellas”, del que también hablaremos.
Sin duda, una lectura recomendable para los que amen la profesión y quieran saber más acerca de ella en ese período de la historia.

This anthology is recommended not only for detectives or private investigators, but also for those who use its services and even for fans of this interesting profession.
It has twenty-six chapters that goes from the history of the FBI, Scotland Yard, the CIA, the introduction to the profession, the great professionals, the types of crimes, the techniques and tools available for their development, the surveillance techniques, the different types of services that can be performed, as well as the legal provisions for the exercise of the profession at that time.

This manual is considered one of the most complete - always remembering the year in which it was written - and there are few copies left of it that, luckily, my father left me, along with his second book, "Las Otras Huellas", which we will also talk about in a future post.
Without a doubt, a recommended reading for those who love the profession and want to know more about in that period of history.
